Young ELM (English Language & Math) $400/month
TK-1st Grade
This class meets Mondays and Thursdays in the classroom and Wednesday for Field Day.
All of our ELM Streams are two days/ week in the classroom and one day out on the field program provides not only an enriched, individualized, and thoughtful experience for our students but also builds a community. Our teachers and assistant teachers are dedicated to teaching math, language arts, and computer skills such as coding in small groups throughout the day.
Through this academically-focused and challenging English Language Arts and Math Program, we strive to instill a love of learning and a passion for exploration. Our approach combines the structure, organization, and peer collaboration of a traditional classroom, with the flexibility, creativity, and autonomy of a homeschool lifestyle. Groups of 16 or fewer students will collaborate on group projects and engage in high-interest, creative, hands-on learning activities. In order to exceed standards and incorporate life skills, our curriculum is custom designed.
Young ELM's will be given the remarkable opportunity to develop their language arts and math skills in an enriching and stimulating academically-focused environment. Teachers and aides will direct small groups in engaging and hands-on activities to foster their learning. Through project-based lessons and creative experiences, students will strengthen their reading, writing and speaking abilities, as well as gain a deeper understanding of mathematics with the use of visual aids and manipulatives, such as Dave Ramsey’s Junior’s Adventures Storytime Collection. Our custom tailored cross-curricular unit studies will ensure their learning needs are met, while All About Reading, All About Spelling and Secret Stories will provide additional literacy support. Here, the young ELM's will not only gain the skills needed for academic success, but also the life skills necessary for a prosperous future.
Wednesday is optional and you can come to all or pick and choose which to participate. Drop-off or stay.
Tuition is $4000 per year for 3 days/week. Paid in full or in 10 equal monthly payments of $400/month August-May. Due on the 1st of every month. Families who join the class after August will be required to pay a $400 material fee.
Additionally a $300 non-refunable registration fee due at time of registration to secure spot in the class. When enrolling in the class only the registration fee will be charged.
