Our belief is in providing students with a Spanish immersion experience for 2 days a week, totaling 3 hours of language instruction. This approach is as close to an authentic immersion program as possible, resulting in a rapid acquisition of the language and better retention of knowledge. With Spanish being the official language in 21 countries and territories worldwide, learning it can open doors to countless opportunities. By delving into various topics through role-playing, crafting, games, speaking, reading, and writing, our lessons aim to hone your skills and deepen your understanding, allowing you to connect with diverse cultures and expand your career prospects.

Students do NOT need previous experience or to own a sewing machine. We will provide machines in the class. If students have their own sewing machines they’re welcome to bring them to class. Sometimes it is nice to be able to work on your own machine. Class size is 8 students max.

Perfect for the beginner! For mixed ages 8 to 17. In this Beginner Sewing Class, we will show you the basics of using the sewing machine – the parts of the machine, sewing techniques, and threading, loading the bobbin, learn basic stitching techniques, Students will learn sewing terms, cutting and assembly. Learn about fabrics, how to read a pattern, measure pattern sizes, pinning and cutting.

An adaptation of Newsies (The movie) Newsies: A Modern adaptation

Synopsis: A couple kids start to work as newsies in order to work and save money for their family. They're tired of being poor and have big dreams! They actually sell newspapers and try to bring back the art of reading a paper. Everyone's always reading the news on their phone and they think they have a brilliant idea-to bring back a paper, cause people already spend too much time on their phone! A corrupt tech businessman tries to put them out of business. They are interviewed by reporters who think the newsies ideas are original and great for society.

Yoga and Mindfulness Class

This class is geared towards our younger yogi’s. While yoga is a wonderful practice for calming the mind and inner reflection, kid’s yoga should be fun! Our Kids Yoga Classes are fun classes that seem more like a playtime to the kids than yoga. Our kids yoga instructor will take the kids through a series of yoga poses while teaching them to connect with themselves. This is done through yoga postures. breathing techniques, and mindfulness activities.

This exciting music class will introduce you to the wonderful world of music! In this 6-week course, students will have the opportunity to explore different instruments and learn about the fundamentals of music such as tempo, rhythm, and melody.

The first part of our class will focus on understanding the basics of music theory. Through interactive lessons and fun activities, students will gain a solid foundation in musical concepts such as beat, notes, and rests.

Students will get the chance to learn two popular instruments - the ukulele and recorder. Our experienced and passionate instructor and owner Frank from Buzzy Mae will guide students through the basics of playing these instruments. By the end of the course, students will be able to play simple melodies and songs on these instruments, and even have the opportunity to perform in a class concert!

We are excited to introduce our new extended day option from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. This Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday program includes a study hall, providing students with assistance and the chance to complete any assignments and homework or enjoy a good read. Students can engage in fun activities such as games and arts and crafts, snack time, as well as outdoor playtime with their friends.
