Creative ELM (English Language & Math) $400/month
1st-3rd Grade
This class meets Mondays and Thursdays in the classroom and Wednesday for Field Day.
All of our ELM Streams are two days/ week in the classroom and one day out on the field program provides not only an enriched, individualized, and thoughtful experience for our students but also builds a community. Our teachers and assistant teachers are dedicated to teaching math, language arts, and computer skills such as coding in small groups throughout the day.
Through this academically-focused and challenging English Language Arts and Math Program, we strive to instill a love of learning and a passion for exploration. Our approach combines the structure, organization, and peer collaboration of a traditional classroom, with the flexibility, creativity, and autonomy of a homeschool lifestyle. Groups of 16 or fewer students will collaborate on group projects and engage in high-interest, creative, hands-on learning activities. In order to exceed standards and incorporate life skills, our curriculum is custom designed.
Creative ELM students will be given the opportunity to learn language arts and math in a stimulating and academically-focused environment. Foundational skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary growth will be nurtured through small group project-based activities and hands-on learning experiences. To ensure our lessons are engaging and effective, we will draw from a variety of curriculum sources such as All About Reading, All About Spelling, Wordly, Kate Snow Math Confidence, Math U See, Singapore Math, Mammoth Math, and Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace Jr. Our classes will aim to foster reading fluency and proficiency in math, as well as equip students with the skills to not only meet grade standards but to exceed them.
Wednesday is optional and you can come to all or pick and choose which to participate. Drop-off or stay.
Tuition is $4000 per year for 2 days/week. Paid in full or in 10 equal monthly payments of $400/month August-May. Due on the 1st of every month. Families who join the class after August will be required to pay a $400 material fee.
