This class ties science to literature from the storytime themes. For example, January focused on Arctic animals, their bodies and the solids, liquids, and gasses found in nature. We looked at the life cycle and needs of a penguin! All of this is in line with the K-2nd grade standards, making it a fun and educational semester! Following a custom Project Based Curriculum that supports and is taught to NGSS (Next Generations Science Standards), CC (Common Core), Industry Influenced, and ICAN standards. Curriculum is flexible to accommodate changes in lessons according to student progression. students will not record lessons, attach handouts and work into their lab books. In this class, various subjects of Science will be covered along with the areas of science and engineering.
$150/month billed monthly, due on the 1st of every month, 10 monthly payments, Aug-May. Families who join the class after August will be required to pay a $150 material fee.
$150 non-refunable registration fee due at time of registration to secure spot in the class.
