This quote sums up Belami's approach to teaching. She believes that learning should be an active and engaging experience for students. Belami is a highly experienced and dedicated educator, and her students fondly refer to her as Ms. Belle. This makes her the perfect match for any student's learning needs. She loves getting to know her students and helping them reach their full potential and goals.
Belami Dufrene, is an experienced teacher, tutor, and parent who lives in Orange with her two active sons and beloved dog, Penny. Belami has been a credentialed teacher for over fifteen years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Fullerton University. Her background in child development and focus on reading intervention and instruction has enabled her to teach for over ten years in the public school system, as well as tutor students in reading and writing. She started her career teaching Kindergarten at the elementary school she attended when she was young! This led to a third grade position for many years, as well as multiple other grades. When Belami took a hiatus from teaching to stay home with her boys, during this time, she also worked in their classrooms and substitute taught at St. John's Lutheran. It was five years ago that she found a new passion in homeschool teaching, which has opened many doors for her in terms of teaching new classes and working with wonderful children and families.
Belami has a passion for teaching children and is enthusiastic and loving. When she is not teaching or tutoring she enjoys exercising, spending time with her boys, and engaging in outdoor activities.
