In this class, students learn basics in Science and Engineering through experimentation, lab work and hands-on projects.. Following a custom Project Based Curriculum that supports and is taught to NGSS (Next Generations Science Standards), CC (Common Core), Industry Influenced, and Ican. Curriculum is flexible to accommodate changes in lessons according to student progression. Each day at the end of the lessons, students will record lessons, attach handouts and work into their lab books. Students, as the lessons build upon prior knowledge, students will start forming hypothesis and create independent experiments. In this class, various subjects of Science will be covered along with the areas of science and engineering.

Life. Earth. And. Physical. Science.

In this class Students will be leaping into middle school project based sciences. We will study Life, Earth and Physical Science. This Science class will follow the suggested CA Standards (NGSS) for Life Science, Earth Science and Physical Science in our Hands on project based approach. Students will perform hands on labs and activities that will highlight and emphasize systems and historic geological activities. Natural resources and systems will be explored and identified. Students will also explore beyond our world into the solar system to understand the power the sun has on our life. Finally students will also gain knowledge of how the technology of NASA has enhanced our Knowledge of Earth's systems.

MONDAYS 3:15-5:15PM

Students do NOT need previous experience or to own a sewing machine. We will provide machines in the class. If students have their own sewing machines they’re welcome to bring them to class. Sometimes it is nice to be able to work on your own machine. Class size is 8 students max.

Perfect for the beginner! For mixed ages 8 to 17. In this Beginner Sewing Class, we will show you the basics of using the sewing machine – the parts of the machine, sewing techniques, and threading, loading the bobbin, learn basic stitching techniques, Students will learn sewing terms, cutting and assembly. Learn about fabrics, how to read a pattern, measure pattern sizes, pinning and cutting. In the 2 hour class sessions students will complete their project and finesse their skills.

An Intro to building furniture, architectural models, woodworking and more- All Ages.

This is an enrichment class that is hands-on and project based. Kids will learn to design, engineer and execute their ideas and projects. Some of the projects are ongoing and may take a few weeks to complete.

MONDAYS 10AM-12PM

This class is designed for the littles 3-6 year olds. We will develop a love for books, reading and story telling. Diving into a story each week and making it come to life through projects and crafts.

We are now offering Monday STEM Summer Camps!! These STEM camps are offered on Monday mornings 9-12pm and afternoons 12:30-3:30pm. $40 drop-in rate.

We are offering early bird pricing to sign up before March 15th, at $35 drop-in rate.

All camps will have a theme for the day and hands on projects to support the theme.
