Welcome to Creative STEAM
Classes
Our unique block schedule provides the option to experience single- or double-subject immersion each day. All classes are designed to enrich homeschooling, with parents maintaining their role as the primary educators. We explore topics in greater depth than typical grade-level requirements, offering an alternative to standard public school curricula.
We focus on advanced topics, unique applications, life-skills and real-world applications and interdisciplinary approaches that extend beyond the standard curriculum. Our classes are an opportunity to enhance and deepen understanding of each subject.
Our flexible schedule allows families to select the frequency and subjects that best suit their needs: Science is available one day per week, History/Social Studies one day per week, and English Language/Math two days per week. Classes take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with scheduling tailored to various grade levels. Participation in our classes, as well as the frequency with which you attend, is entirely at your discretion.
Please be advised that Creative Steam is neither a charter school nor an approved vendor with charter organizations, and as such, we do not accept charter funds. However, we collaborate with other vendors to host classes offered by them at our facility. Certain teachers in our programs may accept charter funds for enrichment classes they provide independently.
Please be advised that Creative Steam does not assume responsibility for grading, record-keeping, or attendance tracking; we do not maintain attendance records for our students. Nevertheless, we do require families to sign a homework policy, ensuring their commitment to completing assignments should their child need to be absent from class.

CHARTER SCHOOL STUDENTS
Do you take charter funds? Creative Steam is not an approved vendor with charter organizations, and as such, we do not accept charter funds. However, we collaborate with other approved vendors to host classes and tutoring services offered by them at our facility. Certain teachers in our programs may accept charter funds directly for enrichment classes they provide independently.
Will my charter funds cover classes at Creative Steam? How much will I need to pay out of pocket? We have no way of knowing what funds are offered as that is something we do not track and varies from charter to charter. We partner with vendors and teachers who are happy to accept funds for enrichment classes they provide, if your charter allows.
What if my charter says that I can’t pay for anything out of pocket? Your charter can not legally tell you what to do with your private money or time.
What do I do if my charter school teacher says my student needs to be working at grade level? This is something we hear often, however our mission, is to meet the students where they are at and to teach to a higher level. We delve deeply into our subjects in an order we see most beneficial for learning, which may conflict with a charter’s requirement to maintain students strictly at grade-level standards.
2024/2025 Academic School Year Enrollment is now OPEN but space is limited!
